Divide the circle in half from top to bottom with a line. Now make a circle from left to right with a curved line just above half of the circle.

Draw two curved lines from the circle to the oval; they will connect the wolf's head and his body. Below draw two legs with paws.

Now draw the wolf’s ears, they should be triangular, erect and symmetrical. The edges of the ears on the left and right should be slightly curved to the sides. Apply a stroke around the wolf's face. Everything that needs to be drawn at the moment is drawn in red.

The next stage of drawing will be the wolf's face. Draw the wolf's eyes, they should be oval, slightly pointed at the edges of the eyes, paint over the pupils completely.

At the bottom draw a nose in the form of a small oval, under the nose draw a wolf's mouth. Highlight the wolf's ears with additional lines. Everything that needs to be drawn is highlighted in red in the picture.

Now look at the next drawing, it shows additional details to improve the wolf's face.

Highlight the inside of the ears with additional lines, draw additional lines on the wolf's muzzle to make the wolf's muzzle more expressive.

Now draw the back of the wolf and his chest, they are highlighted in red in the picture. Draw the curves of the neck between the torso and the head.

Draw the fourth, hind leg, it is highlighted in red in the picture.

Now you need to draw a tail for the wolf, draw a fluffy tail with a curved tip at the end.

Outline the outline of the wolf's eyes, nose, mouth, paws, the ground brighter, erase the extra lines.

Look what a beautiful wolf you have made. Now you can color the wolf with beautiful pencils or shade it.

Now let's see how to draw another wolf

Take a piece of paper and a pencil. Look carefully at the picture of the wolf, how it is drawn and in what part of the picture it is located: head, torso, legs.

Draw a circle in the upper left part of your sheet - this will be the head of a wolf, draw another small circle a little lower, it is located at the bottom of the large circle - this will be the muzzle of a wolf.

Now draw a curved line from the wolf’s head - this will be the wolf’s back. Everything you need to draw is highlighted in red.

Draw two small arcs where the wolf's eyes will be located.

Now draw the nose in the form of a small oval and the mouth, extend the muzzle itself a little; it will take the shape of an oval. Everything you need to draw is highlighted in red.

From the back of the head to the muzzle of the wolf, around the curved line of the back, draw two circles - this will be the body of the wolf, it is highlighted in red in the picture.

Now draw the wolf's eyes, in the form of small ovals with pointed edges at the corners of the eyes. Change the outline of the head a little. Below, under the wolf’s body, draw three small circles, connect one of the circles with a line. All changes in the figure are highlighted in red.

Draw the wolf’s paws and draw fingers on the front paw. In the figure, all changes are highlighted in red.

Now we need to correct the wolf’s muzzle, the outline of the body and draw the wolf’s tail. All changes in the figure are highlighted in red.

Color the wolf's face, add additional strokes to the wolf's face and chest.

Outline the wolf and erase the extra lines. Look what a beautiful wolf you have made.

Now you can color the wolf with beautiful pencils or shade it.

First I make a sketch. I try to make it as detailed as possible to make it more convenient to work in the future. I outline the boundaries of different colors and transitions. All pictures are enlarged.

I start working in color with the eyes. First, I paint over the darkest places with a black pencil and lightly outline future shadows. Then I start adding the color of the iris in layers. First I go through light browns and ochers, then I add darker browns and a little green. There's a little bit of blue added to the eyelids. For greater realism, I apply strokes from the pupil to the edge along the circumference, this gives a more natural texture. I leave the highlights unpainted.

Next I start working on the wool. It is important to ensure that the pencils always have sharp tips, only then will the fur be neat and fine. First, I lightly outline the general direction of the fur. Where the fur is red, I use different shades of light brown; on gray fur, I use grey. I focus on the ref. I don’t put any pressure on the pencil, since I will add color saturation later.

I add shades to the fur, gradually increasing the brightness. Blue and desaturated green tones will look good in gray wool. I add black hairs with separate thin strokes.
Then I begin the final shading of the gray fur. I start with the darkest area from the ear to the eye. Sometimes I enhance the blue tint by additionally using a blue pencil.

I wanted to finish the forehead and ear first, but for some reason I wanted to continue with the sideburns. And I already realized that it’s better to draw what you want than to struggle with what you’ve planned. Therefore, I continue in this area. I do some underpainting with color and outline the direction of the fur.

I finished the sideburn and cheek. I left the bottom lighter than necessary - I will work there when I get to the muzzle and neck - I need to see the contrast. I lightly ran a black pencil across my forehead, outlining the dark hairs.

Almost finished off the forehead - enhanced the black, added blue and shades of brown. I marked the direction of the fur on the ear.

I'm working on the ear. First I add shades, then I fix the tone with a black pencil. First I worked on the edges of the ear, and then on the inside. In order to show the direction of the hairs, I made long strokes with gray and brown pencil, adding black here and there.

I work on the second half of the forehead in the same way. I outline the direction of the fur, add shades of blue and brown, then lightly go over the black before dialing in the final tone.

Finished the forehead. For the most part I worked with a black pencil, here and there enhancing the blue and brown shades. I added a little green.

I completed the second ear by analogy with the first. First I made the edges red, then added black for the desired shadow, green and blue for shades. To separate long strands of light hairs, I add staccato strokes with black.

I made a nose. First, I marked the darkest places and penumbra with a black pencil, then added shades of purple, blue and a little green, and finally enhanced the black to the desired tone.

The red one has outlined the hairs on its muzzle.

I walked along the back of the nose with brown and black. I added gray hair on the white area of the muzzle.

Finished the face. I enhanced the red shades with different brown pencils. Added individual black hairs for more liveliness.

I don’t feel like doing the cheek yet, so I left the underpainting and outlined the edge with black. I did some underpainting of the fur on the neck. On the dark area, I first went over it with black, then added shades and secured it with black to the desired tone. On light colors it’s the other way around (first a blue pencil, then black and brown).

With a black pencil I outlined the fur on the rest of the neck, defining the direction and some strands.

I finished the neck in a similar way. I worked each light strand separately, first going in the direction of the wool with brown, and then adding dark brown and black.
Ready.

Now we will look at how to draw a wolf with a pencil step by step, how to draw the fur of a wolf step by step for beginners, in great detail and in great detail. Option 1 will be easy, option 2 will be difficult.

First we will draw a simple version of the wolf's muzzle. First we draw part of the nose, then the forehead, then the mouth, nose, eye, tooth and paint over the mouth.

For this work, I used A3 paper and simple pencils with hardness 2T, TM, 2M, 5M.

I used this photo as a reference. Photo by LoneWolfPhotography.

First of all, I make a detailed sketch, outlining all the boundaries of the different tones. First, I outline the general outlines with barely noticeable lines, then, relying on some part of the drawing as a basis for construction, on which I measure all the values (most often this is the nose, since I like to start a sketch with the nose), I complete the entire sketch.

I always start shading from the eyes. First, with TM I outline the darkest parts of the eye - the pupil and eyelids, then I shade them thickly with 4M. I leave the highlight unpainted. Then I draw the iris with harder pencils. I move from the pupil to the edges for a more natural image.

I turn to wool. I start by lightly marking the direction of the fur with a 2T pencil.

Using a TM pencil, I begin to work on the fur with short strokes. Near the eye I make very short strokes.

I take 2M and walk through the dark places again.

I switch to the ear. I use a 5M pencil to paint over the darkest areas.

2M I shade the darkened wool. First I outline with light lines, then I draw short hairs.

I outline the hairs on the ear and paint over the dark tip.

2M I shade the ear. It is important here not to get confused in the direction and length of the strokes. I draw long strands with long strokes, first separating one and working only on it. I'm watching the tone.

I outline the contour of the ear with almost dotted strokes. I draw the fur with short strokes.

I return to the forehead and work on the forehead with 2M, adding 4M here and there. Then I work on the fur around the other eye, moving away from it. To make the outline look natural, I first outline the outer hairs with rare long strokes, then add lines between them and only then shade the remaining area. I draw light fur with 2T.

2T I outline the length and direction of the hair on the forehead. Quite difficult, because there is a complex change of directions. I constantly check the reference. I go through TM and 2M again. It turned out too light, but we will always have time to darken it.

I finish the forehead. I draw the mane with 2T long strokes. It is especially important here not to lay the strokes parallel, otherwise the wool will easily turn into unsightly stubble.

I'm working on the second ear. The technique is the same - from dark to light.

Now it's the nose's turn. I shade it with short, almost dotted, arched strokes to show the leather texture. I actively use 2M and 4M. First I go through the black and almost black areas, leaving the lighter ones for later.

I draw the face. Here I use very short strokes. I outline the points - the bases for the mustache. First I go through the lower jaw, because... she is darker.

I switch to sideburns. The technique is the same, only the strokes are much longer.

Here I cheat on myself and go through the light mane first. It came out lighter than necessary, but it's easy to fix. I outline the fur under the muzzle.

I shade the black stripe of 2M and 4M wool.

I'm working on my shoulders. I darken areas that are too light. The work is ready.

Notes

- Never press too hard on the pencil. It is better to go through an extra layer than to immediately darken it. Correcting darkened areas can sometimes be very problematic.

— Never draw hairs in parallel, it will look unnatural. Even on the most smoothed animal, the hairs will bend and overlap each other. Therefore, draw each individual hair at a small angle to the neighboring one or bend it slightly in an arc.

- Try to use the eraser as little as possible. It leaves behind dirt, which will make new touches look untidy.

- Never rush. If you feel like you want to finish quickly, it’s better to put the work aside, otherwise you may only ruin it.

— If something doesn’t work out for you or starts to irritate you, put the work aside. Later, with a fresh look, you will be able to evaluate the mistakes and easily correct them.

A wolf has a similar body to a dog because they have the same "ancestors", but the wolf has a number of differences. First of all, the wolf has more pronounced predatory characteristics of a wild animal. A wolf's fangs are longer than those of a dog, its tail is bushier, and its thick, “powerful” paws have large claws. And even a tamed wolf is always fraught with danger for humans, which is why they are not tamed in a “pure” breed, and in movies the role of a wolf is always “played” by dogs. Probably not everyone knows, but a wolf, even raised in captivity, will never bark; he can only growl and howl angrily.
A wolf's grin is most often depicted in drawings to convey its aggressive nature. If you can, also draw the predatory, cold look of the wolf in your drawing. The wolf has one more feature - its body is slightly more powerful than that of a dog, but only an experienced person can notice this. All these features must be accurately reflected in the drawing so that the wolf does not look like a dog. In this lesson we will learn draw a wolf step by step with pencil.

1. Let's draw the general outline of the wolf

To make it easier for you to draw a wolf, you can divide your future drawing into squares. This marking will help you correctly draw the primary contours. Let's first draw the contours of the body and a circle for the head. Then add a few strokes for the paws and move on to the next step.

2. Add details to the drawing

At this stage we will draw the wolf's approximate outline of its body and tail. But first draw the paws. The front paws will be quite easy to draw, but the hind paws will be a little more difficult to draw. A wolf's hair is always bent and somewhat reminiscent of a cat's.

3. How to draw a head

Since we have already drawn the general outline of the wolf, we can remove the preliminary markings and start drawing the head, but first we will outline only the approximate outline of the wolf’s head without detailed drawing. First draw the outlines of the ears and then draw the outline of the "muzzle". Try to complete this detail as accurately as possible so that the wolf does not look like a fox or a dog.

4. Drawing of a wolf's head in detail

In any drawing, including an animal, viewers, first of all, pay attention to the head or face, if it is a drawing of a person. Therefore it is necessary draw a wolf so as to convey his predatory expression as accurately as possible, so that instead of a wolf it doesn’t turn out to be a mongrel. First, remove unnecessary outlines from the head drawing and draw the nose. Now you can draw the eyes and add other small details. In general, drawing a wolf step by step is not so difficult and practically at this step the overall drawing of the wolf will be completely finished. All you have to do is choose whether to draw it further with a simple pencil or color it with paints or colored pencils.

5. Drawing fur

If you decide to draw a wolf only with a pencil, then use my shadow application scheme. The hardest thing to draw is the fur of a wolf. To do this, apply numerous small pencil strokes along the contours, as in my drawing. Try not to paint the skin with one color. Shadows add volume, and in addition, in life, a wolf’s fur has different shades, especially during molting.

6. Drawing of a wolf on a tablet

Coloring a drawing of a wolf with colored pencils and even more so with paints is not easy. Not only is it very difficult to choose the right color, but the color of the wolf also has different shades. There is a dark stripe running down the back. Stripes with a dark shade will be found on the neck and belly of the wolf. The bridge of the nose and forehead of the wolf should also be darker. To emphasize that this is a wolf and not a dog, depict the plot in the drawing. For example, draw a wolf surrounded by hunting dogs, or draw a wolf in a forest clearing. Then minor inaccuracies will not be so noticeable and it will be clear that this wolf drawing.

There is almost no particular difference between the drawing of a wolf and the drawing of a dog, especially if the dogs are the same color as the wolf, therefore, all wolves filmed in films are dogs. And only the “cold” look of the wolf’s yellow eyes can give him away.

The fox is very similar to its relatives - the wolf and the dog. It has a similar body structure to them and is only slightly smaller in size. But the fox also has its differences. She has a very bushy tail, which she needs not only for beauty, but also for business, for example, to cover her own tracks in the snow or to keep warm in severe frost.

Tigers live in the Primorsky taiga, and you can only see them in the circus. The tiger is a very smart and cautious animal and avoids meeting people. In nature, he has no enemies (except for humans) and even a wolf is for him like a mouse for a cat.

Drawing a wolf or a bear requires some preparation and practice in drawing animals. The fact is that it is imperative that the drawing reflect the character of the bear, a ferocious and dangerous animal, perhaps even more dangerous than a wolf. A meeting with a mother bear surrounded by cubs is considered especially dangerous; in this case, even a tree will not save you from her wrath.

A good scene for drawing a wolf could be a horse running away from a wolf. A wolf alone will not dare to attack a horse, it hits too hard with its hoof, but with an article they can drive a weakened horse.

Learning to draw a wolf for a child step by step

Video: how to draw a cartoon wolf for a child

How to draw an evil wolf for a child step by step

Well, bunnies and hedgehogs, have you relaxed from the good life? Are we cracking carrots and not doing exercises? It’s okay, uncle wolf will come right now and clearly explain what the struggle for survival is and what forest orderlies do. Today we’ll draw a wolf!

  • Step 1

Let's draw an open drop like this - this will be the outline of the muzzle:

  • Step 2

About a third from the bottom, draw the nose (note - flattened, but now vertical!) and draw a line from it to the bottom edge (our muzzle is slightly tilted, so the line should not be completely straight, but slightly in an arc):

  • Step 3

Teeth! Two fangs stick out, the rest are in ambush:

  • Step 4

Mustache. Our wolf is a serious man, he has no time to fuss with his whiskers, so they are not as long as a cat’s:

  • Step 5

Eyes: this time, unlike all previous ones, they are not in the form of dashes. Draw two ovals with pupils (dots or dashes):

  • Step 6

And the wolf's ears grow right out of his eyes. From the point of view of anatomy, it is impossible to explain this fact, of course, and God bless him. Ears are about the same size as eyes:

  • Step 7

Look, the face is ready, but our wolf is never evil. On the contrary, he looks like a confused donkey that has grown fangs and doesn’t know what to do with them. Eyebrows will help us anger the wolf. Take it and draw a squiggle right over the eyes - something between a V and a U. Come on, come on, draw bolder:

  • Step 8

I think everyone has met bosses who look like our wolf: angry and with black shaggy eyebrows, and even with a mustache a la a forty-five-caliber toothbrush. “Comrade General, you have a grandson who looks exactly like you: small, bald, doesn’t understand anything and yells all the time.” So, let’s go back to the wolf! draw the body...

  • Step 9

...and hands. Don't forget long claws!

  • Step 10

It turned out to be an evil tumbler. Let's draw his legs - the same as his arms:

  • Step 11
  • Step 12

    And the spindle tail:

  • Step 13

Let's mark the tip of the tail with a zigzag... ...and the angry and scary gray wolf is ready! In conclusion, two little tips: - the nose looks more lively if you don’t paint it entirely, but leave a small white line or dot - it looks like a highlight - don’t spare your paws! I mean, draw the wolf's paws quite large. He'll need it. Well that's all for today. By the way, have you forgotten that we decided to complement the drawings? So put something on the wolf or give it something to its paws. How about drawing a wolf and three little pigs? :)
